I'm in Holland, Michigan for Finish Weekend.
CityFlats Hotel is one of the more modern and awesome hotels I've ever stayed at. It was built a few years ago and was apparently the first hotel in the Midwest with LEED Gold certification, which basically means they're super green. It's reflected in the architecture, which is pretty cool. It's definitely form over function around here (even described by the employees that way). But in a world where 99.99% of hotels have average and boring layouts, CityFlats has unique room setups and cool features that make it a treat to stay here.
They've also got a great restaurant on the top floor of the hotel with some fantastic food.
I should also point out that the staff is just great. They're some of the most friendly and accomodating people I've ever met. It might be weird to say that I'll miss the staff of a hotel, but I totally will. The people here are great. Thanks for a great stay, Holland!
